Every year when sandy toured back out to Southern Ca I knew I had to be at the workshop. I could go on and on about everything I have learned and how successful my business is because of the things I have learned from Sandy, but I won’t. Sandy Puc not only opened my mind and made this photography thing click to my brain, but she also brought me to tears with her story of her involvement with the Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep program. I was hooked. Since that time, I have attended numerous Sandy Puc Tours. From being captivated by her educational stories to being hands-on photographing a model in a pool, it has always been a highlight when I am around Sandy. Not only have I grown as a photographer from learning from Sandy, but I have also been honored to have her take the time out of her travels to photograph my family. Do I need to take Tots to Teens first?
No. Tots to Teens is not required. Creative Edge Kids is designed to take you beyond the foundations and explore the creative side of photographing children. If you already have a basic understanding of posing, lighting, and working with kids, you can jump right in.
How is Creative Edge Kids different from Tots to Teens?
Tots to Teens focuses on the foundations of photographing children, including posing, lighting, working with different ages, marketing, and building a children’s photography program. Creative Edge Kids goes further into creative concepts, artistic techniques, sets, styling, products, and fresh ways to market what you create.
Do I need to be an experienced photographer?
You do not need to be an expert, but this course is best for photographers who already understand basic camera settings, lighting, and portrait photography and are ready to stretch creatively.
Will I learn how to turn creative ideas into sessions and products?
Yes. Creative Edge Kids goes beyond creating beautiful images. We’ll explore how to develop an idea into a complete portrait experience, including concepts, lighting, composition, sets, styling, artwork, specialty products, and ways to turn those ideas into sessions your clients are excited to book.
