I've spent 37 years building a photography business, photographing real clients and learning what it takes to create portraits people value. Along the way, I discovered that photographing women is about far more than posing and lighting. It's about trust, connection and knowing how to help the woman in front of your camera see herself differently.
Since I began teaching in 2000, I've had the privilege of educating more than 10,000 photographers around the world. At the same time, I continued running my own studio and building it into a seven-figure photography business. I wasn't teaching theory. I was teaching what I was actually doing every day with real clients.
EmpowerHER brings so much of that experience together. In this course, I'm sharing the posing, lighting and techniques I use, but I'm also teaching the part that is harder to put into a formula: how to connect with women, build their confidence and create an experience they will never forget.
