Sandy’s mentorship was pivotal in my journey as a professional photographer. The resources, time and insight created practices and skills I still use to this day. ❤️

My time with Sandy, both in classes and as a client, have definitely changed me. From the first class that I attended, her teaching style matched my learning style perfectly. I learned so much from her, that I signed up for more classes, each time she was in town. When she offered her talent to photograph my family, I jumped on it. Our time together during the photo session taught me so much, in a very different way, and it truly made me love her and her talents even more! Sandy continues to be an inspiration, and I cannot wait to attend another class!

Every year when sandy toured back out to Southern Ca I knew I had to be at the workshop. Not only did she teach about photography and lighting, she also thought about business plans and how to structure a business to succeed. Here hands on workshop were always great. All the different types of workshops benefited me in ways I didn’t even know I needed. I could go on and on about everything I have learned and how successful my business is because of the things I have learned from Sandy, but I won’t. Anyone who invests in Sandy and her crew will not regret it.

Sandy Puc not only opened my mind and made this photography thing click to my brain, but she also brought me to tears with her story of her involvement with the Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep program. I was hooked. Since that time, I have attended numerous Sandy Puc Tours. From being captivated by her educational stories to being hands-on photographing a model in a pool, it has always been a highlight when I am around Sandy. Not only have I grown as a photographer from learning from Sandy, but I have also been honored to have her take the time out of her travels to photograph my family. Those photos will always be cherished. When photography education comes to mind, Sandy Puc will always be at the top of my list!

For Sandy and Nikolai Puc, networking has never been about collecting business cards or walking into a room looking for the next client. It has always been about people.
Across 37 years in business, Sandy has built relationships with thousands of Colorado families, plus local businesses, schools, nonprofits, professional organizations, photographers, and community partners. Many of those connections have grown into friendships, collaborations, referrals, charitable projects, and opportunities she never could have planned.
Today, Sandy and Nikolai continue to build those relationships together, combining decades of experience with a modern approach to connecting, collaborating, and staying involved in the community.
“The best relationships aren't built by asking, ‘What can you do for me?’ They begin by asking, ‘What can we do together?’”

In this course, Sandy and Nikolai share the relationship-building lessons they've learned in the real world, including what has worked, what hasn't, and how a simple connection can grow into something much bigger.
Networking doesn’t have to feel awkward, forced, or salesy. Here are a few common questions about building genuine relationships and partnerships that can help your photography business grow.
Not at all. Great networking is much more about being interested than being interesting. You’ll learn ways to start conversations, ask questions, listen, and build relationships in a way that feels natural to you.
That depends on who you photograph. We’ll explore opportunities with schools, pediatricians, boutiques, salons, realtors, wedding professionals, pet businesses, sports organizations, nonprofits, local businesses, and many others. The goal is to find partners who naturally connect with the clients you want to serve.
That’s a perfect place to start. You’ll learn how to find networking groups, Chambers of Commerce, business organizations, community groups, schools, nonprofits, and other places where genuine relationships can begin.
No. Referrals can be a wonderful result of strong relationships, but they aren’t the only goal. We’ll also explore collaborations, events, displays, community involvement, cross-promotions, introductions, partnerships, and ways you can become a valuable resource to others.
That is a big part of what we’ll cover. You’ll learn to begin with curiosity, understand the other business, look for shared opportunities, and approach potential partners with ideas that provide value for both sides.
Not every group will be the right fit, and simply showing up isn’t enough. We’ll talk about choosing the right organizations, building relationships over time, following up, contributing to the group, and knowing when a networking opportunity is worth your time.
