SANDY PUC EDUCATION
Taking beautiful photographs is only part of building a successful studio. The real magic happens when you have the right systems behind the scenes. I’ll walk you through the tools, workflows, numbers, policies, and planning that helped me turn my passion for photography into a business built to last.
Years in Business
Built & Operated for Decades
Photographers Taught
You can be incredibly talented behind the camera and still feel completely overwhelmed by the business side of photography. I know, because I’ve been there. Over the years, I’ve learned that a successful studio isn’t built on talent alone. It’s built on knowing your costs, creating strong systems, protecting your business, and having a plan for where you want to go.
In this course, I’m sharing the real-world tools and lessons that helped me build a studio that could grow, change, and support me through every stage of my career.
Here’s what we’re going to work through together:
Learn what it really costs to run your studio, how to think about expenses and cost of sales, and the numbers you need to understand before you can make smart decisions about pricing and growth.
From that first client inquiry to scheduling, sessions, ordering, production, delivery, and follow-up, I’ll show you how strong workflows can save you time, keep you organized, and create a better experience for your clients.
Forms, contracts, policies, expectations, and boundaries may not be the glamorous side of photography, but they are incredibly important. Learn how to put the pieces in place that protect your time, your income, your clients, and your business.
Your business should be able to grow and change with you. Whether your dream is to stay a one-person studio, bring on help, or eventually build a team, I’ll help you think about the structure you need to create a business that supports where you want to go.

I absolutely love photography. But one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned over 37 years is that loving what you do and knowing how to build a business around it are two very different things.
I’ve made mistakes. I’ve changed systems, hired and trained teams, switched software, rebuilt workflows, survived challenging years, and reinvented my studio more times than I can count. And every one of those experiences taught me something.
This isn’t business theory. I’m teaching you what I’ve actually lived.
I want to share the systems, lessons, mistakes, and strategies that have helped me build a photography business that has supported my family, served thousands of clients, and continued to grow and change for more than three decades.
My goal is to help you skip some of the mistakes I made, understand your business with more confidence, and build something that gives you the freedom to keep doing what you love.

Not at all. You might work from home, rent a space, have a commercial studio, or still be dreaming about what your business could become. The principles I teach apply at every stage. This is about building the systems and structure behind your photography so your business can run more smoothly.
Both! If you’re just getting started, I want to help you build strong habits and systems from the beginning. If you’ve been in business for years but feel like you’re constantly reinventing the wheel, putting out fires, or trying to get organized, this course can help you take a fresh look at how your studio operates.
Absolutely not. I believe systems are just as important for a one-person business as they are for a large studio. In fact, when you’re doing everything yourself, having a clear process can give you back something incredibly valuable: your time.
Yes. I’m not interested in teaching business theory. I’ll share real systems, workflows, forms, policies, planning strategies, and lessons I’ve used and refined throughout 37 years of running my own photography business. My goal isn’t for you to copy my studio. It’s to help you take what works and make it work for yours.
Pricing for Profit takes a deeper dive into pricing your photography, understanding profitability, building product lines, and creating a pricing structure that makes sense for your business. Studio Management looks at the bigger picture: systems, workflows, policies, planning, client management, staffing, organization, and the day-to-day structure behind running a successful photography business. The two courses are designed to work beautifully together.
“There is no one perfect way to run a photography business. I want to show you what I’ve learned, what has worked for me, and give you the tools to build a business that works for YOU.”
